Technical Document & Content Writer Analyst

Location: Bay Area, CA (Onsite)

Position Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $45.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update user guides, SOPs, process flows, wikis, and training materials for finance, operations, vendor, asset, and data management.
• Document vendor onboarding, contract/PO management, supply chain, and asset lifecycle (acquisition to retirement).
• Maintain change management and governance process docs, including compliance and audit requirements.
• Create and manage business data definitions, data catalog entries, and certification process documentation.
• Prepare executive summaries (TLDRs), reporting templates, and roadmaps for leadership and team use.
• Ensure all documentation is logically organized, easily discoverable, and regularly updated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Finance, Business, IT, Data Management, English, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in technical writing, financial/business operations, or data management.
• Strong understanding of finance, vendor, asset, change, governance, and data documentation.
• Excellent written communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Google Docs, Wikis, Data Catalogs).

Preferred

• Experience in tech or software environments.
• Familiarity with FP&A, asset/data management systems, and reporting tools.
• Basic knowledge of data governance and analytics.
• SOPs, process guides, and wikis for finance, vendor, asset, and data management.
• Data definitions, catalog entries, and certification process docs.
• Executive summaries, reporting templates, and team/project roadmaps.
