Rowing Truck & Trailer Driver (Temporary)

Transport rowing shells to and from the Big Ten Invitational. Assist with loading and securing equipment according to industry standards. Be on call during the regatta for boat maintenance and rigging. Additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Valid US Driver's License HS Diploma or Equivalent Experience with long haul trailers Preferred Qualifications: CDL Class Drivers License Experience working with rowing shells, oars, rigging/repairing rowing equipment Record Keeping About the Department: The University of Minnesota Women's Rowing team, is a Big Ten Conference team with a rich history, evolving from a club sport in the 1970s to a varsity program in 2000, boasting an on-campus boathouse (the Irene Claudia Kroll Boathouse) on the Mississippi River and competing at high levels, achieving strong finishes in recent Big Ten Championships. Pay Range: $70.00 - $85.00; depending on education/qualifications/experience. Retirement plan options are available for Civil Service, Faculty, Labor-Represented, Professional & Administrative, and Temp Casual classifications. To apply, submit your application online.
