In this dynamic role within our Agronomy division, youll serve as an Account Manager to strengthen customer partnerships, grow market share, and deliver profitable solutions./ppSuccess in this role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, self-starter attitude and a passion for building long-lasting relationships. Youll collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and customers to deliver innovative, purpose-driven strategies that support both grower success and the CHS mission. This role is remotely based with a home office. While exact location is flexible, ideal residency would be within the broader territory, such as the MSP metro area, St. Cloud, MN, or Owatonna, MN, to support effective customer engagement./ph3Responsibilities/h3pYou will:/pulliManage P and L for an assigned territory./liliDevelop relationships with suppliers to assist, advise, and harness supply economics and strategies in assigned region./liliMonitor market trends and the competitive landscape needed to forecast supply requirements by month and on an annual basis./liliUtilize proficient knowledge of product offerings to increase sales and margins by prospecting new customers and executing sales programs./liliFacilitate positive long-term relationships with suppliers and customers to create long-term repeat business./liliBuild and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential customers, vendors, and internal staff./liliPrepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful transactions./liliCreate, develop, and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies that capture maximum value./liliCollaborate with other CHS teams to leverage business relationships, growing the CHS enterprise./liliShare knowledge and constructively contribute toward developing sales best practices among team members./liliMaintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions./liliPerform other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned./li/ulh3Minimum Qualifications (required)/h3pHigh School diploma or GEDbr4+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, and/or Sales Business Operationsbr50% travel/ph3Additional Qualifications/h3pBachelors degree preferred in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related fieldbrOutside sales experience to include: presentations, utilizing persuasive negotiation skills, customer service, conflict resolution, and working independentlybrExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalbrProficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word and PowerPointbrValid drivers license with clean driving record/ppPre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
