Jockey is seeking an energetic Sales Associate to join our team at our Coopers 12 South (Nashville, TN) location./ppAs a Sales Associate for Jockey, you will provide excellent customer service following Jockeys service principles focusing on the achievement of store goals and maximizing sales. All part-time employees earn Paid Time Off (PTO) and generous discounts and incentives!/ppJob Expectations:/pulliDemonstrate behavior that reflects Jockeys core values and culture./liliEstablish positive relationships with co-workers and guests, assuring high productivity and inclusiveness in accomplishing satisfaction goals./liliProvide a warm, sincere greeting to all guests, including current promotional message and suggestive selling./liliEngage all guests to identify their needs and utilize product knowledge to offer solutions and meet their needs./liliPromote company programs (i.e., Rewards participation, satisfaction guarantee, etc.)/liliPromote awareness and excitement to grow Jockey Rewards membership./liliAssist in driving all aspects of store level sales and profitability./liliPerform various sales and register transactions including ringing purchases, processing of cash or credit payments and counting money./liliAssist with merchandising (stock, markdowns, visuals) of product in the store, in adherence to established visual standards./liliEnsure adherence to all Jockey policies and procedures./liliMaintain operational store standards (visuals, merchandising, inventory management)/liliMaintain a safe and clean work environment./liliSupport hiring and recruiting efforts/liliOther job duties as assigned/li/ulpQualifications Required:/pulliMust be 16 years of age or older./liliExcellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills./li/ulpPreferred:/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent./liliTwo years of retail or customer service experience with a proven ability to demonstrate a passion for extraordinary guest service and sales./li/ulpPhysical Demands/Working Environment:/pulliAbility to move 25 pounds./liliAbility to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom, repetitive bending, prolong standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and ascending/descending ladder to stock and merchandise store./liliAbility to work with/around cleaning chemicals./li/ulpJockeys culture reflects the values of our leadership.
