The Leasing Associate will comply with established policies and procedures and not act contrary to such guidelines without Community Manager approval. The Leasing Associate will be responsible for but not limited to:/pulliResident selection and screening according to the propertys current Resident Selection Criteria./liliProcessing of all applications subsidized and market applicants./liliResponsible for the preparation and status of the vacancy report, traffic reports and status of move out notices./liliMaintain the propertys waiting list according to the guidelines set forth by the New Jersey Housing Mortgage Finance Agency (NJHMFA) and CRM Residential./liliMaintain Leasing Center in an orderly and professional manner and according to established office hours./liliResponsible for all follow-up with applicants./liliCoordinate and communicate with Maintenance Supervisor projected ready dates of apartments that have already been pre-leased./liliMaintain vacancy board in Management Office which will match weekly vacancy report./liliMaintain accurate and updated resident information cards./liliAttend seminars and trade association meetings as recommended by the New Jersey Housing Mortgage Finance Agency and CRM./liliParticipate in the move-in orientation in various ways./li/ulpRequirements:/pulliHigh School diploma or equivalent education required./liliPrevious leasing associate experience. Experience level may vary due to the special needs of the property./liliThe position requires the ability to deal well with people and get them to feel comfortable quickly./liliProficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)/liliThe position requires effective oral and written communication skills./liliValid Drivers License/liliFull Time Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm/li/ulpPhysical/Working Requirements:/pulliStand and walk or sit alternatively depending on specific needs of the day./liliConstant need to bend/stoop/squat, climb stairs, push, or pull, reach above shoulder, filing, open/close doors/drawers, grasping/turning, writing/typing/liliFrequent lifting/carrying (paperwork, deliveries, files, miscellaneous) less than 20 lbs./liliProfessional image/liliBe able to multi-task/liliExcellent communication skills and upbeat attitude/liliStrong customer service orientation/liliGood organizational and time management skills/liliStrong administrative ability/li/ulpAbout CRM Residential:/ppCRM Residential is an award-winning full-service property management company which professionally manages 11,000+ apartments valued in excess of one billion.
