Michigan International Speedway has more than 12 campground and is the state of Michigans largest registered campground. In addition to a great weekend of racing, the speedway is home to events throughout the year including Nite Lites./ppThe Event Marketing Department is responsible for the consumer marketing, community relations, and guest communication distribution for Michigan International Speedway. Promotions Ambassadors are a part of the Street Team, who are responsible for assisting the Event Marketing department with varied activities and events that promote Michigan International Speedway. Activities include short track races, festivals, trade shows, expos, appearances, partner events, etc. This position will start in January and run up through Michigans NASCAR race weekend of June 7, 2026./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliEnthusiastically interact with and educate the public on Michigan International Speedway history, information, and ticket opportunities/liliResponsible for the loading and unloading of the Michigan International Speedway Pace Car/liliEnsure that display is appropriately supplied with promotional materials and giveaway items/liliEnsure that display presentation is neat, organized, and pleasing to the eye/liliActively collect prospects for future email campaigns/liliAttend in-market events for the purpose of maximizing sales opportunities/liliBe an expert on the products and services offered by Michigan International Speedway/liliContinuing education in the sport of NASCAR and sports industry standards on customer care/liliConform to all safety regulations/liliAssist in the set up and tear down of the display/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulh3Performance Measures/h3ulliLevel of enthusiasm and professionalism displayed during interaction with customers/liliPresentation of display and materials/liliCompliance with safety regulations/ procedures/liliPromptness of response to customer service issues/liliReliability and dependability/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliPost high school education required or equivalent experience/liliExceptional work ethic, strong desire to succeed, eagerness to learn, professionalism and a passion for the sports industry/liliCompetitive nature and a contagious positive attitude/liliStrong time management and organizational skills/liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills/liliProficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft applications and daily use of email/liliProfessional appearance and demeanor/liliAbility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled/li/ulh3Work Requirements/h3ulliMust pass company drivers screening to be able to drive company vehicles/liliValid drivers license/liliMust be 21 years of age/li/ulh3Special Position Requirements/h3ulliPosition requires travel, evening and weekend hours as needed/liliMay require some out of town and overnight travel/li/ul/div
