B2B Sales Manager: Interior Design & Trades Location
Chicagoland (Remote, Full-Time) Schedule: MonFri, 85 or 96 CST; occasional evening networking Behind the Design is growing. We're hiring a full-time, single-brand B2B Sales Consultant to own the sales cycle end-to-endprospecting, discovery, closing, and ongoing relationship managementwithin the luxury window treatment and interior design space. Prospect interior designers, firm owners, and trade decision-makers remotely and in person Run high-value discovery calls; position consulting & recruiting solutions Represent the brand at networking events, trade shows, and national conferences Prospect via local travel at least monthly to meet goals; long distance travel will be quarterly Partner with marketing on talks, workshops, and content-driven demand Manage your pipeline in the CRM from lead gen through contract & invoicing Maintain consistent follow-up with past clients and new leads (calls, email, social) Hit and exceed monthly closed-won targets Who You Are
3+ years B2B sales with a proven track record of hitting goals Hunterfarmer who converts: prospecting, nurturing, and closing come naturally You have experience selling in window treatments or another interior design niche OR you've sold 3rd party consulting or recruiting services Confident leading high-ticket consultative conversations You're dedicated to this role as your primary position Excellent communicator; comfortable networking and public speaking Organized, resilient, goal-driven, and collaborative; adept with remote tools/CRM Join a fast-growing niche firm making a real impact in a creative industry.
