We are a neighborhood Ace Hardware store seeking Sales Associates for our paint and hardware departments. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge and experience in all aspects of paint and/or hardware
Able to communicate professionally with customers and team members
Knowledge of use of technology including computers, cash register and phones
Skilled at providing prompt, friendly and attentive customer service
Willing to learn all areas of the store and help train others
A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required.
Availability must be flexible including evenings, weekends and holidays.
All employees will be required to complete orientation and training Responsibilities
Greeting and assisting customers
Provide in store services (paint, key, lumber, etc.)
Make product recommendations based on customers' needs
Use of equipment for key cutting and paint mixing
Maintain the store and aisles
Assist all personnel in their job functions
Help maintain accurate inventory throughout the store
Participate in product and job knowledge training
