Counter Sales Representative

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Pay: $20-24 based on experience. The perks of working for Ferguson include: Competitive compensation Hourly bonus potential Benefits (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, wellness programs, etc.) 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match Paid time off (vacation, sick, personal, holiday, and parental leave) Employee assistance programs Associate discounts Community involvement opportunities Opportunities for growth and advancement both professionally and financially Responsibilities include: Providing advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs Processing orders via order management system Operating cash registers and following established cash handling procedures Preparing and staging orders for customer pick up Maintaining store appearance and merchandising standards as advised Ensuring that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas Maintaining a safe working environment including PPE (personal protective equipment) Adhering to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) Qualifications include: 3-5 years customer service experience preferred 2 years of HVAC industry experience preferred General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise General math skills to allow for cash accounting An ability to learn is a must have! Excellent decision making and communication skills Pre-employment drug and background screening required. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
