Sales Engineer
Lead and facilitate customer meetings and presentations to demonstrate product and answer technical or business focused questions using knowledge of operating systems including Unix (AIX, HPUX, Linux, Solaris), Windows and HP NonStop; troubleshooting of collaboration system architecture with Avaya, Cisco, Genesys, and/or Microsoft. Identify and understand customer business and technical requirements. Develop Statement of Works. Design and present the best fit product solution for a customer's needs. Assist Sales team to develop technical strategies for an account. Provide technical advice to the sales team and support completing RFIs and RFPs. Provide proposals or technical documentation to customers as required. Help in removing any technical barriers between the customer and the successful sales of a solution. Develop and own strategic customer and partner relationships with key technical stakeholders, decision makers and influencers. Communicate with development and product managers to ensure a thorough understanding of product strategy both current and future. Work with sales team on critical client customizations on multi-million-dollar engagements. Build technical use cases and dashboards for clients. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering or a closely related field and at least five years of progressive experience as a Sales Engineer. Experience to include at least five years' working knowledge of operating systems including Unix (AIX, HPUX, Linux, Solaris), Windows and HP NonStop. Troubleshooting of collaboration system architecture with Avaya, Cisco, Genesys, and/or Microsoft. Domestic & International travel required up to 50% of work schedule to client sites and global IR offices.
