We are looking for a dedicated individual to function as a cashier and/or stocker and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the store manager or assistant store manager. The role involves assisting in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs, providing exemplary customer service, and performing other duties to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork, while protecting company assets and reducing losses. Key duties include unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, restocking returned and recovered merchandise, assisting in plan-o-gram implementation, maintaining store cleanliness, and providing superior customer service leadership. The position requires adherence to company policies and procedures and the ability to perform mathematical calculations, cash handling procedures, and IBM cash register functions. High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) is preferred. The role involves frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling, as well as handling and lifting merchandise up to 40 pounds. Occasional climbing, driving, and exposure to outside weather conditions may also be required.
