Upholds the core values as determined by the management team. Primary responsibility for all positions with F. L. Davis ACE Hardware Stores is to Amaze Every Customer Every Time. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with contractors, and homeowners while providing expert advice and promoting our millwork products, including doors, windows, molding, and other building materials. This position requires a mixture of sales expertise, technical knowledge, and customer service skills. The person in this role is the trusted hardware consultant and advisor for local business customers to ensure they have the supplies they need to keep their business running. This is a fast-paced active environment which will require focus, flexibility, and time management skills. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a well-established, family-owned company dedicated to quality and excellent customer service. Duties Assist customers in selecting millwork products that meet their project specifications and preferences Provide expert advice on product features, benefits, and installation options Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business. Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for customers. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently Coordinate with vendors and receiving to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product inventory, new product lines, and industry trends Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction. Other tasks assigned by manager Skills Proven experience in customer service within a millwork or building materials environment Strong sales skills with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of millwork products and construction materials. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Proficiency in millwork quoting systems. We are your local hardware store and we are a part of your community.
