Inside Sales Support Specialist

We're looking for someone who loves keeping things moving, staying organized, and being the go-to person that helps our sales team (and our customers!) succeed. As our Inside Sales Support Specialist, you'll work side by side with our Account Managers to make sure projects don't just get started but actually get across the finish line. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of customer interaction, project coordination, and behind-the-scenes problem solving. Beecher's Handmade Cheese is a category-defining brand known for our iconic "World's Best" Mac & Cheese, award-winning artisan cheeses, and unrelenting commitment to real food made with integrity. We're part of the Sugar Mountain family of brands, including Pasta & Company, Mishima Reserve, and The Butcher's Table, all united by our mission to Change the Way America Eats. We operate like a high-growth startup: lean, fast-moving, and focused. We move quickly, solve real problems, and make decisions with the best available data then adjust on the fly. For the past 6 years, we've been recognized as a Great Place to Work and we're proud of the value-driven, mission-forward culture that fuels our growth. Key Responsibilities Be the first to jump in on inbound leads, proposals, quotes, and follow-ups. Connect directly with customers, brokers, and distributors when projects need a push. Keep sales projects on track whether it's a product launch, demo program, signage request, or marketing campaign. Submit and track promotions in customer portals and our internal systems. Partner with our operations team to make sure purchase orders and key orders flow smoothly. Prep Account Managers with research and customer insights before meetings. Keep our CRM and customer database clean, organized, and up-to-date. Help resolve customer complaints and credits with a solutions-first mindset. Track and manage new item launches from setup through store delivery. Ship and manage product samples and keep our inventory in check. Support account planning by keeping promo calendars and timelines organized. Handle approvals for broker commissions and deductions. Update and manage price lists as needed. What We're Looking For Someone who's comfortable reaching out directly to customers, brokers, and distributors. A natural organizer who likes juggling multiple projects and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM systems, sales tools, and common office software. A strong communicator who can keep people informed and projects moving. Team-oriented, you'll take the lead from our Outside Sales Account Managers, who remain the decision makers for all accounts. Proactive and resourceful, if something's stuck, you're the one who figures out how to get it unstuck. Compensation & Benefits The starting salary range for this position is between $70,000 - $80,000 per year, plus an annual bonus plan. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We offer medical, dental, vision and life insurance premiums, along with paid time-off, paid holidays and a 401(k) plan with a company match. Employees enjoy a 35% employee discount at Sugar Mountain locations. Commitment to Our Communities Sugar Mountain has created the Beecher's Foundation, a non-profit funded by a portion of sales from companies under the Sugar Mountain umbrella. Aimed at educating people about the prevalence of food additives and their possible health risks, the Foundation is about giving people the tools they need to make healthy eating choices for life. Sugar Mountain is a tobacco-free company.
