This is a remote position. Employment Status: Full-time (initial 3-month evaluation period). Work hours: 09:00 AM
5:00 PM AEST, Monday to Friday. Location: Remote. Needed: ASAP. Remote Office and Shift AI are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who can not only deliver qualified booked appointments but also lay the foundations for our SDR function. This is not a "dial-only" role. We're looking for someone who can design processes, establish structure, and eventually grow into leading a team of SDRs. Key Responsibilities: Outbound Prospecting: Proactively reach out via email, LinkedIn, and phone to generate interest and secure qualified appointments. Lead Qualification: Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to understand needs, confirm fit, and advance only qualified leads. Messaging & Positioning: Communicate the USPs of both Remote Office and Shift AI in a way that resonates with Australian SMEs and mid-market clients. SDR Structure Setup: Define outreach cadences, refine qualification criteria, and help build the SDR playbook for future hires. CRM & Reporting: Maintain a clean pipeline, ensure accurate data in HubSpot/CRM, and provide weekly reports on progress. Follow-Up & Nurture: Persistently re-engage unresponsive prospects, schedule consultations, and nurture early relationships until handover. Cross-Collaboration: Work closely with founders and marketing to align outbound efforts with campaigns and GTM strategies. Requirements
Must Have: Proven experience working with Australian clients
strong understanding of business culture, communication style, and market expectations. Background in the offshoring industry in a similar SDR/BDR/Inside Sales role. Minimum 3 years' experience in outbound prospecting, appointment setting, or business development. Skills & Attributes: Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and phone etiquette). Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple leads. Results-driven, with a proven track record in achieving/exceeding KPIs. Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outbound tools. Self-starter mindset
able to work independently in a global, remote-first team. Desire to grow into a team leadership role in the future. What We Offer
Dual Exposure: Work across two dynamic businesses
Remote Office (remote staffing solutions) and Shift AI (AI agent platform). Career Path: Clear trajectory towards SDR Team Lead as we scale. Remote Flexibility: Work from anywhere with our fully remote infrastructure. Learning & Development: Access to resources and mentorship to sharpen your craft. Inclusive Culture: A diverse, supportive team with Friday virtual catch-ups to unwind.
