Order Picker
The primary responsibility of this position is to pick parts from the warehouse for the production floor. Employees will move throughout the warehouse, predominantly on foot, to locate and retrieve the required parts. Once the parts are picked, they will be placed on carts, forklifts, or tuggers to facilitate transportation to the production floor. This enables the production team to seamlessly continue the assembly process and build units. Responsibilities: Pick parts from the warehouse for production orders. Utilize a cart to navigate the shop floor while picking orders and organizing products. Assist the receiving team in checking and replenishing parts inventory. Operate a pallet jack to move materials safely and efficiently. Comfortable walking up to 5 miles or 10,000 steps per day. Receive training and certification on a stand-up forklift. Essential Skills: Material handling Picking and shipping Order picking Stocking experience Pallet jack operation Packaging Additional Skills & Qualifications: 6+ months of warehouse experience Comfortable reading and writing work reports Willingness to learn forklift operation Experience in a fast-paced environment Standing on feet all day in steel-toed boots Preferred: Any type of forklift experience and previous work in a manufacturing setting Why Work Here?
