Front Desk Sales Associate
POSITION: Front Desk Sales Associate AM 7-1pm + weekend rotation PM 4-8pm shifts available + weekend rotation *weekend shifts can be 7am-2pm REQUIREMENTS: 1+ years of fitness, health & wellness or service sales experience Ability to manage and drive multiple streams including memberships and retail Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement An affinity and passion for fitness Solid writing and grammar skills Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Professional, punctual, reliable and neat Strong attention to detail and accuracy Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information Proficiency with computers and Studio software DUTIES: Grass Roots Marketing and Networking Implement sales process to schedule prospects into Intro class Membership sales Proficiency in ClubReady, to include revenue reports, attendance reports, etc. Independently make decisions related to high level customer service Collect out-standing dues Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio Enforce Pure Barre policies and procedures Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature is stocked and visible Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio Any other duties as assigned COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: This position offers a very competitive hourly rate; based on experience & performance. Commission paid on sales (new membership sales) Unlimited growth potential within the company. The perfect candidate would be available to work 2-3 shifts per week. With availability from 4pm to 8:30pm or AM shift could start 7/8am-12/1pm Rotating weekend shifts 6:30am/7am-2pm (we want everyone to have the benefit of having weekends off) Compensation starts at $12/hr with a Free Membership to the 3 RVA Pure Barre studios, plus bonus' and commission! We're looking for the long term - someone who can work independently within a sales-heavy environment, who has an outgoing personality, who enjoys talking with people, and must have phone etiquette with eagerness to learn and promote all things Pure Barre. We do not make COLD calls (calls to people who did NOT request it/click an ad). We obtain peoples info because they provide it to us. This is a sales position, there is always something to be doing - no down time, you are not just a body at a desk. We are a very busy studio. We set goals on a monthly basis and reaching those goals is important to the health of the studio (keeping our doors open). You will be expected to make a minimum of 15 phone calls per shift to prospective members, along with emails and texting. Along with the responsibilities of booking and selling to prospective clients, it is to also handle basic member issues, utilize a POS system when they wish to buy retail.
