Sales Representative
The Virginia Lottery, an independent state agency, is currently seeking a Sales Representative to sell and market lottery products to retailers in the areas of Elkton, Woodstock, New Market, Strasburg, and Broadway. Duties include: retailer network development; territory management; retailer training; Scratcher ordering utilizing a tablet; inventory management; merchandising; as well as implementing and monitoring retailer incentive and promotional programs. Performance is evaluated on sales achievement and other important performance factors. Minimum Qualifications: Experience in and knowledge of implementing sales, marketing, and merchandising programs; inventory management; in-field or route sales experience in consumer products; training; customer relations and development; new product introduction; territory management and use of automated ordering devices or computers. The successful candidate must be willing to live within 50 miles of the geographic area's business center.
