International Sales Representative

The International Sales Representative is responsible for relationship building and driving the IBC experience by providing personalized international and domestic banking services carried out accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a "We Do More" attitude. This position supports an international officer who manages international and domestic high net-worth bank customers. Essential job functions include: Listening carefully, creating connections, and establishing relationships with long-term and prospective high net-worth international and domestic customers by suggesting bank products and services that will meet their needs. Driving the customer IBC experience by providing personalized service to customers for account-related transaction requests to comply with bank's policies and procedures. Under the One Team Concept, the international sales representative and international officer have monthly sales goals to meet. Assisting international officer to prepare loans secured by certificates of deposit; also supporting with loan collection, overdrafts, and assisting the customer resolve issues. Logging and updating the bank's Customer Relationship Management system with notes regarding customer interaction and transactions. Following up with customer due-diligence, dormant accounts, foreign status recertification. Providing basic online banking customer support. Assisting customers with credit and debit card needs, as well as orders and ensures delivery of check orders, debit cards, etc. Updating customer contact information and records. Training on Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Reg E, regulations, Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. coverage and ensuring compliance with regulations when servicing customers in order to service high-risk customers. Attending meetings, events, and participating in the bank's outreach projects. Other duties as assigned. Skills: Strong bilingual skills - must be fluent in English/Spanish Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English/Spanish) Customer service oriented Highly motivated and self-starter Problem resolution Time management Goal oriented and focus on results Strong math skills and an understanding of currency exchange Attention to detail, discretion, and confidentiality essential Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Team player; builds relationship with international team to maximize customer experience. Education/Knowledge/Experience: High school graduate or GED equivalent Prior sales or office work a plus; banking experience preferred Knowledge of Mexican identification documents a plus
