We are only recruiting existing teams, and both team members must apply to this position./liliAble to partner with another driver in a sleeper tractor on extended runs./liliBe at least 21 years of age./liliHave a valid Class A commercial drivers license./liliHave a working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems./liliSafe driving record and history./liliHold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical./liliAvailable to work away from home in a five-day work week./liliPossess hazardous materials, tank vehicle and doubles/triples endorsements./li/ulpPreferred qualifications:/pulliTeam driving or over-the-road experience./liliStrong verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with dispatchers and team members./liliAble to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating strong teamwork and cooperation./li/ulpAbout the Team Driver job:/ppPay, benefits and more:/pulliWeekly pay./liliMileage pay will be paid at the designated rate of $0.946 per mile, split between each driver ($0.473 per mile) for all tasks related to the completion of the load./liliHourly pay of $34.39 will be provided for en route waiting times of more than an hour due to traffic, construction or weather-related delays./liliReimbursement for on-the-road showers./liliTypical schedule is 5 days on, 2 days off./liliFull health insurance benefits available on day one./liliHourly pay for 6 holidays./liliPTO offered./lili401k with company match./liliNo touch and in-house freight./liliShops and fueling stations across the network to reduce delays./lili2023 Freightliner and Kenworth automatic trucks./liliMicrowaves and refrigerators in sleeper cabs./liliTool and repair kit in tractors./li/ulpWhat youll do on a typical day:/pulliRun loads between XPO facilities for pickup and drop off and work with fellow XPO employees./liliNavigate various routes, maintain CMV safety, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations./liliOperate various tractor-trailer combinations over long distances in a typical 5-day work week away from home./liliOperate the vehicle safely within DOT regulations./liliOperate all internal freight transportation work tools and required systems./li/ulpTeam Drivers are required to:/pulliLift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75 lbs.)./liliSafely climb in/out of tractor cab/trailer./liliSit for extended periods in a truck tractor./liliReach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel./liliOperate a tractor-trailer combination for up to 11 consecutive hours; in all types of weather, while safely transporting all freight types./liliProperly operate a handheld device./li/ulpAbout XPO:/ppXPO is a top ten global provider of transportation services, with a highly integrated network of people, technology and physical assets.
