Retail Training Specialist
A Retail Training Specialist is responsible for delivering training programs to field merchandisers to ensure consistent implementation of merchandising standards, product knowledge, and brand representation across designated territories. This role involves conducting hands-on training and providing ongoing support to enhance the performance and productivity of field managers. Responsibilities include: Deliver comprehensive training programs and materials for field merchandisers. Travel up to 75 miles within assigned territory. Conduct on-site and virtual training sessions. Train field merchandisers on product placement, signage, and display techniques. Provide hands-on coaching and feedback during store visits. Collaborate with field managers to identify training needs. Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness. Update training materials based on product changes. Support new product launches and store resets. Serve as a subject matter expert on merchandising best practices. Foster a positive learning environment. Cover open territories executing client-specific work. Requirements include: Demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Be a self-starter, quick learner, detail-oriented, flexible, and agile in adapting to various tasks and situations. Able to effectively communicate with others. High school diploma/GED required. Prior retail experience and/or retail training experience is preferred. Proficient operating a smartphone and apps, sending/receiving emails, sending/receiving text messages; E-learning platforms. Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and be available for occasional weekend work. Have good vision and the ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel.
