Education:

Candidates are preferred who offer the following: College degree, preferably in graphics or packaging. Would prefer experience in the following fields: corrugated box industry, flexible packaging, rigid containers, adhesives, foam or any type of paper, or industrial sale. Experience:

5 Years + of selling experience in the packaging industry. Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and ability to load and unload samples from vehicle. Physical Demands:

Regularly required to walk, talk, hear, stand, and sit. Work Environment:

Travel required. Some office time and if in the plant, the employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the plant work environment is usually loud. Leadership Attributes:

Superior time management. Ability to help others quickly and efficiently. Crisis management; great emotional control. Communication Skills:

Ability to speak and communicate clearly and effectively. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Good communication skills with customers and internal Sales/Production/Customer Service staff. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Problem-Solving & Reasoning:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form. Ability to solve a variety of problems and deal with situations where limited information or standardization exists. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. The ability to develop innovative and creative packaging solutions with a focus on manufacturability. Interpersonal and Teamwork:

Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment. Working closely with Customer Service Representatives (CSR) and the production team. Evaluations include behaviors associated with appropriate human interaction, respect, and communication. Self-Management and Initiative:

Must be a self-starter and self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Strong organizational skills. Ability to multitask. Flexible and a fast learner who can handle multiple projects, solve problems, and embrace challenges. Creativity is measured by how active the employee is in participating in advancing the business through new and innovative ideas. Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, costs, proportions, percentages, and volume. Performance Measurements:

The performance of the Sales Representative will be measured as follows: Operating Standards:

The employee will need to meet or exceed the Operating Standards set in the area of sales and customer service. Such standards will be set annually and communicated to the representative. Personal Growth:
