This Senior Customer Executive I position is accountable for managing all Center Stores Grocery Products including the important Planters and Skippy brands. This sales territory has direct accountability for $25 MM in net sales annually. Develops, implements and executes Hy-Vee's sales and distribution plans for our retail portfolio of products at the account level. Works closely with our Dedicated Retail Team through Advantage Solutions to drive retail executions at the store level for Hy-Vee. Collaborates with their Customer Business Manager & team members to develop annual Sales plans that are aligned with those of the operating units. Conducts routine discussions with the customer and is an active participant in Hy-Vee and Fareway's planning process to create a plan that is mutually beneficial in delivering profitable sales. Identifies threats and opportunities in the categories that we compete in that could affect sales volume, market share, trade efficiencies and profitability to the company and communicates them to their Customer Business Manager. Aligns the distribution, shelving, merchandising, and pricing (DSMPs) established by our retail products segment to ensure the execution of DSMP pricing objectives are met. Interprets information from Category Analytics and Sales Strategy teams regarding category sales, brand sales, share growth and promotional efficiency. From this information the incumbent provides insights and recommendations on tactics used to drive sales on Hormel brands. Responsible for continuing to develop and enhance their competencies through participation in learning and development workshops. These include, but are not limited to, training available at the local, regional and national meetings intended to improve selling techniques, knowledge of the customer and company, and other business practices. Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2+ years of sales/sales strategy experience. Record of successful sales and/or business analytics experience. Pattern of initiative. Proven problem solving and decision-making skills. Proven ability to work in a team environment on a variety of complex projects. Well-developed interpersonal, organizational skills and analytical skills. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to take opportunities from conception to execution. Preferred: 3+ years of sales/sales strategy experience. Location

10% of the time Compensation
At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for the Senior Customer Executive I role is between $91,550 - $128,175 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
