divh2Community Development Advisor/h2pThe Community Development Advisor is responsible for generating pre-need sales for locations in the assigned market area including cemetery property, cemetery merchandise, cemetery services and prearranged funeral/Cremation plans./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliActively builds relationships in the community to educate and guide families in their preplanning decisions./liliExcels in his/her ability to set an appointment, give a preplanning guide presentation, and product presentation./liliProvides professional park tours of each location within their area./liliCompletes paperwork timely, neatly and accurately, including all specific requirements for contract processing./liliActively tracks all sales activity and ratios to measure areas of strength and areas that need improvement./liliUses CRM to track all contacts and ensure professional follow-up./liliContacts new and existing customers to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needs./liliProspects daily using multiple methods including cold calling, door knocking, mailers, seminars, and outside events./liliProvides world class customer service, a positive attitude, and a willingness to do Whatever it takes./liliKeeps current in areas as they relate to our profession (veterans benefits, social security benefits, end of life decisions, etc.)./liliBuilds relationships with churchs, civic groups, veteran organizations, hospice, senior living,

other community groups. Once relationships are established, pre-planning seminars are scheduled and conducted in accordance with NorthStar Memorial Groups established program./liliWorks multiple prospecting avenues such as, web leads, Seminars, park patrolling, file reviews, direct mail, and all other prospecting methods in accordance with NorthStars sales playbook./liliSchedules 10-12 Pre-Need appointments each week that are tracked in the CRM./liliAnswers telephone inquiries about cemetery products and services pre-need planning./liliAttends training programs scheduled with sales leaders and regional leadership./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent./liliValid drivers license and satisfactory driving record./liliMust have reliable transportation./liliKnowledge of current federal, state and local regulations related to the cemetery and funeral industry./li/ulpWe are an equal-opportunity employer.
