Associate Creative Director Copy

You will work with an Art partner to ideate concepts, build brands, and execute layout designs for a variety of communications, both print and digital. You will create solutions that will have a business impact on our clients as well as a health impact on people. You will consistently create and inspire others to create award?winning, unexpected creative solutions for your clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop ideas for how brands and organizations can make a meaningful difference in the industry.
  • Judge creative work and provide constructive, actionable feedback.
  • Deliver presentations to clients, account and creative leads.
  • Gain thorough knowledge of brand goals, positioning, market and competitors.
  • Continually develop practices and processes to inspire, innovate, and harness new ways of thinking with direct reports.
  • Collaborate with the client service, project management and editorial team to complete and present work on time.
  • Remain current on industry trends and technology.
  • Supervise the work of others, generally 2?4 employees at senior art director level or below.
  • Lead new business pitches from insight?gathering to strategic/message development, concept creation, and preparation/presentation to clients.

Qualifications
  • 8?10 years of Copywriting experience within an advertising agency or creative department.
  • Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent writing toolkit and creative vision.
  • Personal online portfolio showcasing expertise in responsive web design, mobile apps, banner ads, and complex digital advertising campaigns.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $98,000 $117,000, based on the individuals skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

Location & Work Model

MERGE offers a hybrid work model. If you live in a city where we have an office (Chicago, Denver, Atlanta, New York, Boston, Kansas City), we encourage you to work in the office two days a week.
