Inside Sales Representative
We're seeking a results-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our team. In this position, you'll drive revenue by engaging with prospective and existing customers to identify their technology needs and deliver tailored solutions from our portfolio of hardware, software, cloud services, and professional services. This role is ideal for a motivated entry-level sales professional who enjoys a transactional approach and thrives in a dynamic, technology-focused environment. Key responsibilities include managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting through close, making outbound calls to targeted prospects, responding to inbound inquiries, conducting thorough needs assessments, and recommending appropriate solutions. You'll prepare quotes and proposals, negotiate pricing and terms in coordination with vendors and distribution partners, and work to overcome objections throughout the buying process. Collaboration with vendor field representatives and internal solutions engineering resources to develop and present solutions to customers is also part of the role. Additionally, you'll coordinate with purchasing and operations teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery, maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM, and meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Qualifications and experience include two to four years of experience in inside sales, account management, customer service, or business development within the IT channel. Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding quota in a metrics-driven environment is required. Familiarity with mid-market and enterprise technology products and vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Dell, HPE, Microsoft or AWS is strongly preferred. Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot and comfortable using quoting tools and distributor portals is also valuable. Understanding of IT procurement processes, licensing models, and common business technology challenges is important. A high school diploma is required, and a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, information technology, or a related field is preferred. Competencies and attributes include strong verbal and written communication skills, skilled listening who asks thoughtful questions to uncover customer needs and priorities, a consultative selling approach, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, self-motivation, resilience and persistence, a coachable attitude, and a genuine interest in staying current on industry trends.
