Industrial Cleaning team!/ppYou will be responsible for building a long-term, value-based relationship with accounts; penetrating them for further business./ppstrongWhat Youll Do/strong/pulliImprove Univars position within each account using consultative and in-depth selling at all levels within the account./liliProspect for new business by conducting sales calls to actively grow the size of the territory./liliFocus on customer retention and overall customer satisfaction./liliProvide customer technical support and consultant services to increase our overall value to the customer./liliMaintain a clear updated view of your sales pipeline./liliSet pricing and service levels, maintain and coordinate customer quotations, or provide vital information to allow local branches to do so./liliCoordinate with Local Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure accurate inventory levels./liliDemonstrate dedication to safety, both personal and of your colleagues./li/ulpstrongWhat Youll Need/strong/pulliMinimum of 5+ years of sales experience in the Homecare

Industrial Cleaning (raw chemicals) industry./liliExperience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or chemical industry sales is preferred./liliBachelors degree (Technical Science, Chemistry preferred but not required) or equivalent experience./liliAbility to cultivate an extensive network of contacts./liliProven competitive drive./liliStrong business savvy, including an understanding of the business relationship between manufacturers, distributors, and end-users of chemicals./liliWell-honed listening skills and a problem-solving approach to uncover needs and motivations to overcome objections to closing a sale./liliEffective negotiation skills that allow Univar to realize appropriate value for products and services./liliAbility to travel within the assigned territory./li/ulpstrongWhere Youll Work/strong/ppThis is a home-based opportunity

Covered territory - New England region: Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hamshire, Maine and Vermont.
