Consultant For Veterinary Diagnostics
As a consultant for veterinary diagnostics, you will be primarily responsible for selling the IDEXX product portfolio in the field of veterinary medical diagnostics and for building and expanding close customer relationships. In this role in the field, you will win customers through professional and business exchange of solutions from the IDEXX product and service portfolio. You will also support veterinary practices and clinics in expanding their in-house diagnostics and thus establish yourself as a valued partner. The communication of our company values and the expansion of existing customer relationships are essential to meet the needs of our customers and offer them an individually suitable solution. What can you expect in this role? You will independently manage your area and fully advise your customer base on the use of possible diagnostic procedures, veterinary medical laboratory and rapid tests, as well as practice-internal analysis devices and consumables.
You will work with other IDEXX sales experts in the region to jointly close the sale of capital goods.
You will reflect customer needs and competitive issues to the marketing organization of IDEXX as well as to the management level. In this context, you will also work closely with laboratory departments to ensure that customer questions are satisfactorily answered and resolved.
You will communicate the values of IDEXX to our customers in a professional manner and can use your knowledge in the context of our industry, our veterinary medical customers and our technologies to achieve this goal.
What you need for success A completed bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience is desirable.
Although experience in managing sales areas can be advantageous, we also encourage veterinarians without corresponding sales experience to apply.
Your previous expertise can come from the veterinary/animal health industry or alternatively from the sales of human medical products, dental products and/or capital goods.
Whether you have sales experience or not, the ability to work in a highly team-oriented, cooperative and sales-oriented environment is important.
The position requires a willingness to travel, including extensive car trips (company car provided), occasional overnight stays and flexibility for possible weekend work at trade fairs or other events.
Good German and English language skills in speech and writing are required.
