SMB Account Executive

As an SMB Account Executive on our team, you will be responsible for prospecting new logos and expanding customers through upgrades to their accounts. You'll work diligently to manage a large book of business consisting of whitespace and existing customers. You'll focus on crafting unique and value-based messages through email and phone calls, to help small and medium sized business customers understand the impact of partnering with Pluralsight. You'll have the support of an extended sales team consisting of inbound BDRs, solutions consultants, and marketing, to ensure you are putting your best foot forward. Who you're committed to being: An advocate for Pluralsight and the value we bring to customers An excellent communicator focused on uncovering customer needs A relationship builder who loves building connections What you'll do: Build relationships with customers, identify and care for customer needs, maintain accuracy in Salesforce, develop processes for meaningful customer experience, and identify companies that are in our top buying industries, have the specific personas we target, or have used/shown interest in Pluralsight before. Conduct targeted outreach to customers through personalized emails, calls, and generated leads to drive new customer acquisition, and upgrade existing customer base. Execute a consistent activity process to deliver the "Metrics that Matter": held customer meetings, new pipeline generation, and booked ARR. Experience you'll bring: Familiarity with pricing, sales quotas and transactions Experience working in a high-volume transaction environment Interest in pursuing a career in sales Requirements: You are agile and flexible, and get energized by working in high growth changing environments. You are an amazing communicator who is customer and partner focused. Self motivated, goal and detail oriented, persistent and dependable. This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Westlake/Dallas, TX office should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. This approach enables more effective collaboration, quicker decision-making, and a stronger culture, while still providing flexibility. Travel: Travel expectations differ by role. Some quota-bearing sales positions involve limited travel, while others may involve travel of up to 40%, depending on business needs.
