These opportunities will be the result of building and maintaining positive perceptions of our brands, strong and meaningful relationships, and being both responsive and proactive with customers. The Specifier Sales Representative is expected to be recognized as a knowledge resource and provide consultative support for project activities to Designers, End Users and our internal team. They will also need to contribute to the development of positioning and selling strategies for those opportunities. The primary goal for this role is to promote Oldcastle APG products as the basis of design for new construction and remodel projects./ppstrongJob Location/strong/ppThis position is remote, and this person must live in Chicago, IL./ppstrongJob Responsibilities/strong/pulliDevelop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company revenue and growth goals./liliCreate new business by cultivating leads or leveraging relationships with new and existing design professionals./liliUnderstand the specification process and respect the design intent of the architect./liliBuild Brand acceptance, trial and preference./liliConduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities, key customer segments, and competitive positioning/liliCreate industry visibility and strong social ties through participation in industry related groups and activities./liliCoordinate market research activities to understand designers needs and preferences/liliCoordinate as needed with production teams and other internal functions to support the eventual specification and pricing needed./liliMaintain positive working relationships with all company and team members./li/ulpstrongJob Requirements/strong/pulli2+ years of experience working with Architect, Design
