Company, is headquartered in San Francisco, CA, but our impact extends far beyond./ppClever is seeking a Senior Account Executive responsible for selling Clever solutions to school districts and building strong relationships with district administrators. Focusing exclusively on new business, this role requires enthusiasm for identifying and solving cybersecurity needs of school districts. Building senior level relationships at the district and state level within the assigned territory is a key aspect of this role. This position partners closely with Clever account teams to create a great customer experience from first touch to advocacy./ph3A Day In The Life:/h3ulliSell the value of Clever solutions, addressing the cybersecurity and technology challenges of medium and large school districts./liliProactively develop a territory plan and manage pipeline activities to achieve new business targets./liliPlan and execute strategic sales calls with clear objectives, deep discovery, multi-threading, and clear next steps./liliBuild senior-level relationships with Clevers existing and prospective school districts and key state education departments./liliInvest consistently in outbound activities to build relationships and identify new opportunities./liliCommunicate product value effectively to decision makers, addressing their specific needs and goals./liliCollaborate effectively with customer teams to maximize territory success, including District Success, technical pre-sales, and onboarding engineers./li/ulh3What Were Looking For:/h3ulli5+ years selling highly technical products to IT/CTO/CIO stakeholders in school districts and states. Experience in district IT leadership (5+ years) with Clever products is also highly valued and may be a proxy for sales experience./liliProven track record of meeting and exceeding quotas for new business revenue year over year./liliDemonstrated experience of engaging technical district and state personnel./liliStrong familiarity with a districts technology infrastructure (SIS, LMS, HRIS) and integrations needed to successfully implement IDM/IAM and MFA products./liliPreferred knowledge of Clever and our business model as it relates to SSO, Rostering, Clever Portal and our Application Partners./liliStrong track record of exceeding quota, forecasting, building and managing accurate pipeline./liliAbility to articulate a proven and research-based sales methodology outlining best practices with prospecting, discovery, customer best-practices, negotiating, and closing deals./liliAbility to travel up to 50% of the time during peak sales season and weekends when travel dictates and during peak conference season./liliWillingness to work and travel weekends for conferences and internal sales meetings./liliCommitment to equity and belonging: Clever believes that the classrooms we serve and our companys halls should be spaces that are diverse, equitable and inclusive.
