Midwest (US) to join our dynamic team at Quantum-Si to uncover and create new business opportunities for Quantum-Sis next generation protein sequencing products. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a hunger for success, capable of driving prospecting efforts and closing deals to achieve sales targets. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and make a significant impact in the life sciences community./ppAs part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:/pulliProspecting and lead generation:/liliAggressively hunt, identify, and research potential clients across academia, bio/pharma, biotech, and industry./liliConduct proactive outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email outreach, tradeshows and regional events./liliQualify leads based on their needs, budget, and purchasing authority./liliNurture relationships through regular follow ups and engagement./liliClosing business:/liliDevelop and maintain a robust sales pipeline of qualified opportunities./liliManage opportunities closely, provide strong forecasting updates, and deliver accurate insights into revenue and adoption./liliTrack and prioritize opportunities to ensure timely and efficient sales cycles./liliCreate and execute effective sales strategies to close capital deals, exceed sales targets, drive consumable revenue growth./liliNegotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements that achieve optimal outcomes for both parties./li/ulpQualifications/ppBaseline skills/experiences/attributes:/pulliBachelors degree in life science preferred./lili4+ years of quota carrying outside sales./liliCapital sales experience in the research and tools space market with a focus on Proteomics and DNA sequencing./liliStrong relationships in Pharma, biotech and academic research organizations is desired./liliDemonstrated track record in lead generation and prospecting./liliProven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets year over year./liliStrong desire to win business and establish long-term customer relationships./liliConfident energetic Hunter mentality./liliHighly adaptable and independent./liliThrives in a rapidly growing start-up environment. Can pivot when necessary, with a positive attitude./liliExcellent verbal, written, and computer skills./liliTake initiative with a strong growth mindset./liliMastery of Miller Heiman Strategic and Conceptual selling./liliAbility to travel smart and maximize commercial productivity in each trip traveled./liliRequired travel: 60-80%/liliWork is accomplished in a proactive manner without considerable direction. Able to independently create and develop resolution to complex problems while meeting objectives/goals./liliIdeally located in Metro Chicago./li/ulpIdeally, you also have these skills/experiences/attributes (but its ok if you dont!):/pulliGraduate degree in life sciences strongly preferred./liliChannel sales experience/li/ulpThe estimated base salary range for this role based in the United States of America is: $100,000-$190,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, level of the position, an individuals skills, knowledge and abilities, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
