Cliff Berry, Inc. is hiring a CDL Class A or B Driver based in Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate will possess a Class A or B Commercial license, Manual, Air Brake, HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements and have at least 5 years of commercial driving experience. As an emergency response company, we require employees to be available for on-call assignments and weekend work as necessary./ph3Job Requirements/h3ulliEnsures health and safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times/liliInspect the truck to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment function properly./liliReport defects, accidents, traffic violations, or vehicle damage./liliPump out tanks and drums using hoses similar to an oil pumping truck./liliDrive to weigh stations before and after loading to document weights and comply with regulations./liliProvide exceptional customer service and satisfaction./liliPromote and upsell products/services at customer locations and generate field leads./liliObtain receipts, payments, or signatures when required./liliPerform basic vehicle maintenance, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid and making minor repairs./liliComply with DOT drug and alcohol screening regulations./liliMaintain a valid commercial drivers license and medical certification./liliParticipate in emergency response efforts if required./liliPerform additional duties as assigned by management./liliAdhere to company attendance policies./liliWear company-issued uniforms and required safety equipment./liliMaintain a professional appearance./liliLoad, transport, and unload used oil and liquid waste as directed./liliComplete all paperwork per company policies, including vehicle inspections, manifests, and driver logs./liliMeet scheduled collection times and notify dispatch of delays./liliConsistently achieve company production standards based on assigned criteria./liliUse proper equipment and procedures to safely and efficiently service customers./liliComply with state, federal, and regulatory motor vehicle operation and used oil handling laws./liliFollow operational and safety procedures outlined in the company drivers manual./liliReport all accidents, spills, and injuries consistent with emergency response procedures./liliBuild and maintain positive working relationships with employees and customers./liliEvaluate work regularly to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded./li/ulh3Minimum Requirements/h3ulliHS Diploma or equivalent/liliClass A or B CDL required/liliAir Brakes, HAZMAT endorsements/liliPrefer candidates with heavy haul oil or gasoline experience/liliPrefer candidates with at least 5 years of commercial driving experience/liliBilingual, Spanish/English preferred/li/ulh3Physical Demands/h3pThe employee is frequently required to stand, sit, stoop or walk in the performance of essential duties and responsibilities of this job.
