This opportunity is a full-time and benefits-eligible position./ph2What Does It Take to be a CDL Class A Driver at Dawn Foods?/h2pBelow are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job./pulliClass A CDL License in good standing/liliMinimum of 6 months Class A Commercial driving experience/liliAbility to work in the United States/liliMust be 21 years of age or older/liliMust be able to lift 50+ pounds consistently throughout work shift/liliAbility to operate MHE equipment/liliExperience delivering into food service accounts is preferred/liliLift-gate, reefer, electric pallet jack and forklift experience helpful/liliComputer skills or experience with electronic logs helpful/li/ulh2What Will You Do as a CDL Class A Driver at Dawn Foods?/h2p- Obey all federal, state, and local rules and regulations of the road including all DOT operating, recording and safe food handling procedures/pp- Conduct daily face to face interaction with customers, representing Dawn Foods in a friendly, competent, and professional manner/pp- In a DSD (direct store delivery) setting, break down product and complete shelf stacking at each stop/pp- Driving and maintaining multi-temp trailers/pp- Offloading with electric pallet jacks/two wheelers/pp- Performing pre and post trip vehicle inspections as well as collecting invoice receipts that are generated from the deliveries/ph2Physical Demands
