Accountable for serving client families by making at need cemetery arrangements and selling pre-need arrangements. The Family Service Counselor serves families by providing exemplary personalized service and plays an essential role in generating revenue for the cemetery as well as acting as the primary contact for families./ppJob Responsibilities/ppLead Generation/ppHolds self-accountable for prospecting a minimum of 1-2 hours each day/ppObtains referrals from families served by the location/ppNetworks and builds community and civic relationships/ppExplains and presents presentations to families served and referred families/ppMaintains and tracks activity levels to ensure productivity/ppBuild Relationships with Families/ppResponds to client inquiries in a timely, respectful, sensitive and professional manner/ppConnects with families through listening, honest communication and genuine concern/ppDevelops an understanding of each familys unique needs and offers solutions that provide value to them/ppStays in touch with families to ensure satisfaction/ppPrepares for all appointments and performs all procedures with professionalism and attention to detail/ppFollows through on all customer problems and requests/ppBuilds trust-based relationships to earn the right to ask for referrals/ppEarns the right to gain referrals to offer protection to protect family members, and the familys relatives and friends, by educating them on the benefits of pre-planning/ppTeamwork/ppRepresents a continuous link from services provided at need, through aftercare, to providing services to protect families in the future/ppCollaborates and teams with funeral directors, location managers, and other members of funeral home and or cemetery staff, to provide seamless, high quality service/ppThoroughly and completely reviews previous services and contacts with families to prepare to support current needs and or sales/ppShares family concerns with rest of the SCI team/ppMinimum Requirements/ppEducation/ppHigh school diploma or equivalent/pp1-2 years of college or an equivalent of education and experience/ppExperience/ppHigh school equivalency and 1-2 years of college or an equivalent of education and experience/pp1-2 years of customer service or sales industry experience preferred/ppLicenses/ppCurrent state/province issued drivers license with an acceptable driving record/ppInsurance license if required by state/province law and as prescribed by each state board/ppKnowledge, Skills and Abilities/ppMust be able to pass the Companys internal presentation certification within thirty days of hire/ppAbility to work a number of evenings and or weekends every month/ppAbility to drive frequently/ppAbility to obtain and maintain an insurance license if required by state/province/ppFlexible hours but, at times must have the ability to work up to 12 hours in a day/ppAbility to treat others with empathy and respect/ppKnowledge of computers and some software/ppCustomer service skills/ppCompensation $50,000 to $100,000 targeted compensation (with higher earnings potential based on exceptional performance)/ppPostal Code: 89131/ppCategory (Portal Searching): Sales/ppJob Location: US-NV - Las Vegas/ppJob Profile ID: S00164/ppTime Type: Full time/ppLocation Name: Palm Northwest Mortuary and Cemetery/p/div
