They are most often the customers first point of contact./ppPosition Responsibilities:/pulliSelling building materials to our customers from the customer service counter/liliMaintaining and growing existing customer base through prospecting, sales account development, quoting, and customer follow-up./liliSourcing special order items for our contractors./liliEnsuring all customer sales orders are imputed complete and accurate./liliAdvising customers on inventory levels and pricing./liliCash application and reporting./liliAnswering the phone and directing calls./liliScheduling and answering questions regarding deliveries for customers./li/ulpPosition Requirements:/pulliMinimum education required: GED or high school diploma./liliWorking knowledge of computers and software./liliThe ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment./liliStrong organization and communication skills./liliPast history in a building materials-related industry./liliStrong math skills./liliHigh energy level and a desire to succeed./liliAdditional duties or responsibilities may be required./li/ul/div
