Automotive Service Advisor
Billion Automotive is hiring an Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team in Iowa City, IA! Competitive compensation depends on experience. Essential functions include scheduling service appointments, greeting customers and obtaining vehicle information, writing customer vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair orders, referring to service history, inspecting the vehicle, and recommending additional needed service. The role also involves advising customers on the care of cars, providing complete and accurate written cost estimates for labor and parts, checking on the progress of repair throughout the day and informing the customer, implementing and maintaining a service marketing program, reviewing and closing repair orders, keeping service department forms, menus, and pricing guides up-to-date, implementing a quality control process to eliminate comebacks, and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Prior experience in an automotive dealership strongly preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills are required. The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is essential. A valid driver's license/acceptable driving record is necessary.
