Leasing Specialist- Model Tobacco (Richmond, VA)
Model Tobacco, a premier multifamily community in Richmond, VA, is seeking a professional, energetic, and customer-focused Leasing Specialist to join our team at WPM Real Estate Management. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with at least 2 years of multifamily leasing experience and a background in sales or customer service. As a Leasing Specialist, you'll serve as the first point of contact for prospective residents and play a key role in fostering resident satisfaction, planning community events, and supporting daily operations. Key Responsibilities
Welcome and assist prospects, residents, and vendors with professionalism and enthusiasm Conduct property tours and follow up on leads to convert prospects into new residents Guide applicants through the leasing process, including collecting and processing all required documentation Maintain accurate records, including traffic reports, vacancy logs, and resident files Coordinate move-ins and ensure apartments are prepared and move-in ready Support resident retention efforts by planning and participating in community events Assist with marketing initiatives, outreach activities, and promotional events Provide administrative support to the Property Manager, including correspondence and file management Answer phones and assist with general office operations Perform light cleaning of apartments and common areas as needed Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of multifamily leasing experience High school diploma or equivalent required Background in sales, customer service, or marketing preferred Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Professional appearance and positive demeanor Proficiency with computers and leasing/property management software Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Why Join Us?
