Schedule, train, coach, and evaluate staff, and conduct performance reviews Direct daily work activities and inspect completed work for conformance to standards Develop, maintain, and provide direction related to policies and procedures Prepare for and conduct inventories and manage inventory control system Anticipate traffic levels, and order and maintain stock levels using department guidelines Develop and maintain business relationships with various vendors Review revenue audits and profit and loss statements to identify cost savings and maximize revenue Effectively communicate with support departments Identify and resolve merchandise problems, over/short shipments and billing errors Maintain the overall general appearance of the retail sales and storage areas Operate point-of-sales system and handle cash and cash equivalents Knowledge And Certification, Skills And Abilities

Required Knowledge and Certification: 1-year previous cash register experience 1-year previous customer service experience Preferred Knowledge and Certification: High school diploma / GED or equivalent experience Previous supervisory experience Required Skills: Accurate and detail-oriented Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and proficiency with current operating systems Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Above average math skills Required Abilities: Ability to work fast and efficiently Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene Ability to interact with guests, coworkers, and management in a professional and courteous manner Ability to serve both internal and external customers Ability to speak in a clear, concise, and pleasant voice Ability to independently complete multiple tasks in a professional manner Ability to enthusiastically and professionally sell/upsell gift shop items and property amenities Physical Demands

Must be able to stand or walk for periods of up to 8 hours Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel Must be able to reach and twist occasionally Must be able to push, pull, and grasp objects routinely Must be able to independently lift up to 25 pounds routinely Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions Must have good eye hand coordination Working Environment
