Client: VASG Inc | Southwest Airlines Job Title: Python Developer (Pytest, AWS, Terraform) Location: Dallas, TX (Local candidates only)[Hybrid] Job Type: Contract Duration: 12 + Months $55/Hr on C2C Work Authorization: open to all visa types of US Citizens/GC/H1B 2 Round of interview: 1st round Virtual ; 2nd round Face to Face Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with strong experience in Pytest, AWS, and Terraform to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable backend applications, implementing automated testing frameworks, and managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Python-based backend services and APIs.
  • Write efficient unit and integration tests using Pytest.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.).
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product to deliver high-quality software.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow best practices in CI/CD pipelines and version control.
  • Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of professional experience in Python development.
  • Hands-on experience with Pytest for writing test cases and automation.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Solid understanding and practical experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker (Kubernetes is a plus).
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS Certification (Developer Associate or Solutions Architect).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK stack.
