CareCore at Lima is seeking a dedicated and dependable Dietary Aide/Cook to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals in a safe and welcoming environment. We provide on-the-job training , making this a great opportunity for both experienced professionals and those new to the field.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Dietary Aide/Cook, your duties will include:
- Preparing and serving meals in accordance with residents' dietary needs and preferences.
- Following menus and recipes while adhering to portion control and food safety standards.
- Assisting with food prep, meal plating, and serving in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining, and food storage areas.
- Washing dishes, utensils, and cookware, and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
- Communicating with staff to accommodate special dietary requirements or food allergies.
- Assisting in inventory management and stocking supplies as needed.
- Schedule: Every other weekend and select weekdays.
- Training: No prior experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
