About the Role
The candidate for this position must be located in California, ideally in northern California.
The RVP – Wealth Management Consultant is responsible for nurturing and expanding our referral partnerships, working alongside talented Advisors to cultivate new client relationships, and ensuring new business success in their assigned sales region. The region primary location is the San Fransico area however, strong candidates in the LA area with also be considered. The role requires best‑in‑class relationship management, communication, and leadership skills. Additionally, excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills are necessary to facilitate optimal outcomes for clients. The RVP – Wealth Management Consultant is a pivotal role, serving as a regional leader to the broader sales field.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the singular point of contact for external referral partners in their assigned sales region, nurturing and expanding those relationships and building a strong pipeline of prospective new business.
- Effectively coordinates with internal advisors, referral partners, and prospective clients during each step of the sales cycle in a timely fashion.
- Oversees the onboarding process to ensure a superior client experience and new business success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, financial planning or related, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ of successful sales experience in financial services or a related field.
- Strong financial planning and investment management knowledge.
- Series 65 or combination Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
- Qualified credential, such as Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Investment Consultant (CIC), strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce or a similar CRM a plus.
- Superior relationship management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Must be in good compliance standing with all rules, regulations, and policies, including a clean U4 and solid registration history.
