Responsibilities
- Design and implement Automated Litigation Support (ALS) software solutions primarily consisting of COTS tools such as Relativity, iPro, CaseMap, etc.
- Maintain ALS system infrastructure (storage, compute, network) leveraging on?premise and AWS cloud platforms.
- Maintain external access to ALS tools, including identity and access management for external stakeholders (e.g., expert witnesses, U.S. Attorneys, IRS collaborators).
- Perform system maintenance, including backups, restores, application and platform software updates, performance tuning, and system monitoring.
- Produce and update system diagrams, administrator guides, and end user documentationdocumentation must be updated at least semi?annually.
- Provide weekly reports on system health, performance, completed projects, and planned activities.
- Work with IT leadership supporting ALS applications and infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree (preferably in computer science or management information/technology disciplines) OR equivalent years of experience.
- At least 5 years of hands?on, directly applicable experience implementing systems (UNIX, Windows, network storage solutions, etc.) and eight years in litigation support applications/software (Oracle, Relativity, iPro, Concordance, Trial Director, web hosting platforms, etc.).
- Experience designed, obtained, installed, integrated, and tested equipment and software in the required environment.
- Experience with large, complex systems comprising multiple operating systems and functions.
- At least one year of experience setting up large?scale database management applications and using the relevant database management software.
- Experience in storage technology planning, performance capacity planning and modeling, applications planning, human factors issues, distributed processing, and business process analysis.
- In?depth knowledge of federal government IT environments, including office automation networks, PC and server?based databases, and applications.
- In?depth knowledge of federal government security requirements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with Relativity.
- Experience with SQL Server 2012 and later.
- Ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated Public Trust Clearance.
