We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Property Management Intern
to join our team for the Summer. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in commercial real estate, property operations, tenant relations, asset management, and Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”). You will gain hands-on experience working with a seasoned property management team and exposure to real-world challenges in managing retail centers.
Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities
During your internship, you will support the team by assisting with:
Daily Property Operations : Participate in site inspections, vendor coordination, and maintenance oversight. Tenant Relations : Respond to tenant requests, track issues, and support communications. Special Projects : Support APMs, PMs/SPMs, and VPs with priority initiatives as assigned. ESG Tracking : Help management gather and report required data Data Clean-up:
Assist Lease Administration by auditing and completing missing data
What You’ll Learn
How commercial real estate property, specifically open-air shopping centers, operates day-to-day The fundamentals of tenant management, lease obligations, and vendor coordination Exposure to budgeting, capital planning, and operational reporting Best practices for maintaining curb appeal, safety, and visitor experience Insight into the broader industry, including leasing, development, and asset management
Desired Skillsets & Qualifications
College student (incoming Junior, Senior, or graduate student) pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Property Management, Urban Planning, or a related field Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Interest in commercial real estate and property operations
