CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

Caylor Construction is looking for a qualified Construction Superintendent who will be responsible for all field activities including the planning and organizing for assigned site/s. Skills require the development of a detailed construction schedule, oversight of company field personnel and subcontractors for execution of the job plan, conformance with the project plans, specifications and contract documents, compliance with state and federal safety regulations, the documentation of daily activities, production levels, site visitors and testing and adherence to the project budget. These are highly visible positions that represent the public face of our company.
Qualifications: Minimum 2 to 5 years trade and supervisory experience working on commercial construction projects. Demonstrated excellent communication and collaboration skills Demonstrated leadership skills OSHA 10 (required) OSHA 30 Certification (desired) First Aid and CPR Certification (desired) Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents (required) Valid Driver’s License and MVR report (required)
Responsibilities: ·
Supervision of commercial construction projects ·
Demonstrate complete knowledge of the Contract Documents, subcontract scopes and the job plan ·
Schedule: all phases of the construction project including overall schedule and weekly look ahead schedules; and monthly updates ·
Oversee daily site project administration; maintain daily documentation ·
Implement and oversee Quality Control processes ·
Ensure adherence to Corporate Safety Program ·
Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both in written and verbal formats in all aspects of the construction project
Desired Skills and Experience Construction Site Management Project Planning Construction Safety Inspection Project Coordination Supervisory Skills OSHA 30-Hour Team Building Management OSHA 10-Hour Project Scheduling Construction management software, including Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project Bluebeam Procore
