Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Estimator, located in Norfolk, VA. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing and analyzing cost estimates for construction projects, performing quantity take-offs, managing project budgets, and collaborating with other team members to ensure accurate and competitive bids. xsgimln This role requires close attention to detail, effective communication, and comprehensive understanding of construction processes.
Qualifications Previous/Current Construction experience estimating projects up to $40M Knowledge of the local construction market and subcontractors Cost Management and Budgeting skills Strong Communication skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Experience in the construction industry is required Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., estimating software, spreadsheets) Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is beneficial
