A well-established paving and earthworks contractor in the DFW area is seeking an experienced construction professional to support field operations across concrete paving, earthworks, drainage, and utility scopes. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality work, values safety, and understands what it takes to deliver projects on time and within budget. This position plays a key role in executing roadway and civil infrastructure projects, working closely with field crews, equipment operators, and project teams to ensure work is performed efficiently, safely, and to specification.
Responsibilities
Support and oversee daily field operations on paving and civil projects
Coordinate work across slipform concrete paving, earthworks, drainage, and utility scopes
Ensure production goals, schedules, and quality standards are met
Promote and enforce jobsite safety policies and procedures
Coordinate with crews, subcontractors, inspectors, and project leadership
Read and interpret plans, specifications, and project documents
Assist with material coordination, equipment planning, and workflow sequencing
Identify and help resolve field issues to keep projects moving forward
Qualifications
Experience in civil construction, paving, or earthworks environments
Strong understanding of concrete paving, drainage, and underground utility work
Ability to work in a fast-paced field environment with multiple moving parts
Familiarity with TxDOT or municipal roadway projects preferred
Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Strong communication and field coordination skills
