Our client, a leader in the gaming industry, is seeking a Game Developer to join their team. As a Game Developer, you will be part of the innovative team supporting the development of cutting-edge technologies in the Metaverse. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, a passion for immersive experiences, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Job Title: Technical Game Developer
Location: Onsite in Sausalito, CA
Pay Range: $65 per hour
What’s the Job?
- Collaborate with the Creative Director, technical artists, research scientists, and engineers to create immersive demos.
- Integrate 3D character assets and innovative technologies within real-time engines like Unreal.
- Rapidly iterate on digital character-focused demos and prototypes in a small, nimble team.
- Share demos with leadership and the community to inspire and define the future of the Metaverse.
- Work independently while also taking direction and prioritizing tasks effectively.
What’s Needed?
- Minimum 8+ years of game development and/or AR/VR prototype experience.
- Expertise in game mechanics and UI systems, with high-level skills in level blueprint and real-time graphic optimization.
- Proficiency in coding C# or C++ and understanding of 3D math fundamentals as applied to game logic.
- Experience with Unreal Engine 5 and Unity is required.
- Strong communication skills and experience in cross-discipline collaboration.
