Professional Experience & Strategic Leadership

  • Cloud & AI Tenure: 8+ years of high-impact experience in the cloud computing industry, specifically within B2B, pre-sales, or partnership roles.
  • Large-Scale Transformation: Proven track record of leading complex customer stack migrations and AI integration initiatives for enterprise-level organizations is a plus.
  • Revenue & Ecosystem Scaling: Extensive experience scaling revenue across Key Accounts (KA) and systematizing individual successes into repeatable, scalable models across regions or industries.
  • Team & Project Orchestration: 3+ years of direct team leadership or a history of successfully directing high-stakes, cross‑functional projects involving Product, Engineering, and Finance.

AI Domain Expertise & Strategic Vision

  • Industry Insights: Deep understanding of how AI and cloud products deliver value in specific business scenarios. Ability to leverage industry‑specific insights to guide and shape customer requirements toward an AI‑first strategy.
  • Analytical Diagnosis: Ability to conduct a "360‑degree" analysis of a customer’s strategic and technical landscape to deliver forward‑looking AI solutions that address core business challenges.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Strong familiarity with core competitors’ AI offerings, with the ability to articulate Alibaba Cloud’s differentiated advantages in Intelligent Computing and the Apsara ecosystem.
  • C‑Suite Engagement: Expert at independently initiating and leading dialogues with CEOs, CTOs, and Chief AI Officers (CAIOs) to influence long‑term budget cycles and strategic decision‑making.
  • Trusted Advisor Status: Proven ability to build broad customer relationship ecosystems, serving as a consultant who aligns technology trends with the customer’s long‑term business model.
  • Negotiation Mastery: Capable of leading strategic‑level project breakthroughs, guiding team members through complex partnership discussions, and securing future budget commitments.

Ecosystem Building & Methodology

  • Growth Methodology: Demonstrated success in developing new customer acquisition frameworks—from target profiling to solution‑matching—and empowering teams to replicate these wins at scale.
  • Value Chain Construction: Ability to build a "Win‑Win‑Win" value chain among Alibaba Cloud, partners, and customers through strategic value alignment.
  • Partner Alignment: Skill in planning and aligning partners according to specific industry, customer, and regional technical requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Industry Experience: 8+ years of high‑impact experience in senior sales or business development roles with a quantifiable track record of multi‑million dollar revenue generation and market expansion.
  • AI‑Native Connections: An extensive, "warm" network of high‑level contacts within the AI‑native ecosystem, including VC/PEs, AI Model developers, AI infrastructure providers, and specialized AI Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).
  • Strategic Networking: A proven track record of leveraging deep‑rooted industry relationships to achieve market penetration, navigate complex decision‑making chains, and secure high‑impact "breakthrough" strategic wins.
  • Ecosystem & Methodology Leadership: Demonstrated success in developing scalable customer acquisition methodologies and repeatable growth models. You must be able to empower teams to replicate these successes across diverse regions or industries.
  • Cloud & AI Literacy: While direct public cloud sales experience is a "plus," the candidate must possess a deep conceptual understanding of AI market trends and Intelligent Computing. You must be able to clearly articulate the technical functionalities and competitive advantages of the Alibaba Cloud product suite in a way that resonates with C‑suite executives.
  • Executive Presence: Exceptional ability to independently initiate and lead "Call High" engagements with Key Account stakeholders (e.g., CEO, CTO, or Chief AI Officers) to influence long‑term budget cycles and strategic decision‑making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, is a plus.
  • Languages: Native or professional fluency in English. Fluency in Chinese is a significant advantage for facilitating cross‑functional collaboration in a global organization.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $156,000/year and $255,600/year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.

If hired, employee will be in an “at‑will” position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
