Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of senior editors and writers, creating a high‑functioning, collaborative editorial team.
- Champion the content function in company‑wide strategy discussions.
- Infuse creativity while driving operational excellence.
- Develop an editorial vision that supports business‑wide goals for audience engagement, acquisition, retention, and conversion.
- Partner with SEO, product marketing, creative, and demand‑generation teams to drive omnichannel content campaigns.
- Build repeatable, scalable editorial processes for ideation, creation, optimization, distribution, and governance.
- Establish data‑rich performance metrics to track content across the funnel and prioritize data‑driven editorial decisions.
- Create reporting frameworks that measure engagement, ROI, and communicate results to leaders, including the C‑suite.
Qualifications
- Track record of managing B2B editorial teams that produce best‑in‑class content and demonstrate creative, future‑proof thinking.
- Deep understanding of private markets—fundraising, VC, PE, private credit, limited‑partner investing—and global ecosystems including non‑U.S. regions.
- Advanced knowledge of SEO, LLMs, AI tools, and data‑driven content strategies, with experience leveraging emerging tools to develop editorial processes.
- Demonstrated success building scalable content programs that engage target audiences and move them through the funnel.
- Outstanding writing, editing, and research skills, with ability to produce technical and analytical content.
- Strong cross‑functional communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments in a fast‑paced, high‑growth setting.
Salary
Carta offers a market‑competitive salary, equity for all full‑time roles, and exceptional benefits. This role’s minimum cash compensation (salary + commission, if applicable) ranges from $176,000 to $220,000, with final offers varying by geography, candidate experience, and expertise.
