Overview The Digital Advertising Specialist is a creative, data‑driven professional responsible for executing and optimizing Irish Boat Shop’s digital advertising and marketing presence. This role supports sales initiatives while also executing digital advertising that represents Irish Boat Shop across its operations, locations, and services. Working closely with the sales team, the position ensures consistent, effective representation across digital platforms. Location Charlevoix, MI Key Responsibilities Execute day‑to‑day digital advertising strategies across multiple platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels. Coordinate overall advertising strategy with the Vice President of Sales to align marketing efforts with sales objectives. Support company‑wide advertising initiatives that promote Irish Boat Shop’s services, capabilities, locations, and overall operations. Plan and support the execution of local marketing and promotional events in collaboration with the sales team and other departments as needed. Manage and coordinate social media posting across platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube, ensuring consistent branding and messaging. Assist the sales team in creating engaging, value‑driven content for social media and digital marketing campaigns. Support the creation of walk‑through videos and visual content showcasing Irish Boat Shop inventory, services, and operations. Create, execute, and monitor email marketing campaigns to support sales‑driven and informational communication. Monitor website performance and recommend improvements to maximize engagement, visibility, and customer experience. Track campaign performance and recommend adjustments to improve reach, engagement, and effectiveness. Support additional marketing and sales initiatives as assigned by management. Qualifications And Requirements Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field—or equivalent experience in digital marketing. Hands‑on experience with digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads and social media ad managers. Working knowledge of major social media platforms and best practices for business engagement. Graphic design skills sufficient to create digital advertisements and marketing visuals. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Creative mindset with attention to detail and brand consistency. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Collaborative, team‑oriented approach with the ability to work cross‑functionally with sales and leadership. Comfortable adapting to evolving digital trends and marketing tools. Additional Requirements Ability to support occasional high‑season workload fluctuations.
